My name is Angelina (Angie) Gorman. I have been married to my husband Ryan for 28 years. We have lived in Belle Plaine for 22 years and we have raised three wonderful  children.

It is always been a dream of mine to own and operate my own daycare. In 2001 when we moved to Belle Plaine, I opened an in-home daycare. While I did enjoy doing it out of my home, I began to look for different opportunities so I  could work within my community. I was offered a job at Rainbow Discovery Center here in Belle Plaine in 2004 where I began to learn how much I enjoyed the center setting. I continue to work for Rainbow for just about 12 years as I earned my CDA (Child Development Associate) credential. As time passed, I realized I still was searching for more and had such a passion for helping children meet their developmental domains and guide them in their daily needs, I wanted to open an infant and toddler daycare because there was such a need in Belle Plaine. 

With a lot of support from family and friends that dream was able to come true in 2016. I am now the proud owner of Angie’s Learning Center. In 2022 I felt the need to continue my growth and I absorbed the daycare business next door, which resulted in adding preschool children to my program.  Today I am beyond proud to offer a newly renovated center with more classrooms and more opportunities for the children and community Angie’s Learning Center Serves.
